A cab ride costs approximately $18.00 from the airport to John Ascuaga's Nugget.
Shuttle
John Ascuaga's Nugget offers a free airport shuttle departing from the Valet parking area every half hour, on the hour and half hour, from 4:30am to 12 Midnight. The airport shuttle picks up at the airport 15 minutes before the hour and 15 minutes after the hour, outside door "D" outside of the baggage claim area. If you need transportation to the airport outside of these shuttle hours, please call the Nugget Operator at 775-356-3300 and ask for Security, they would be happy to pick you up or drop you off as available.
Driving Directions
From the airport (South):
• Travel North on Interstate 395 into Reno, head east on Interstate 80 towards Sparks.
• Take the Rock Blvd./Nugget Avenue (exit 17) exit, stay right (Nugget Ave.) and follow
the signs.
From the North (Hallelujah Junction, Susanville):
• Travel South on Interstate 395 into Reno, head east on Interstate 80 towards Sparks.
• Take the Rock Blvd./Nugget Avenue (exit 17) exit, stay right (Nugget Ave.) and follow
the signs.
From the West (Sacramento, San Francisco):
• Head East on Interstate 80 towards Reno/Sparks.
• Take the Rock Blvd./Nugget Avenue (exit 17) exit, stay right (Nugget Ave.) and follow
the signs.
From the East (Elko, Salt Lake City):
• Head West on Interstate 80 towards Reno/Sparks.
• Take the Pyramid Way (exit 18) exit and bear left. Look for the Nugget Avenue signs
directing you left.
• After going under the freeway, make a right onto Nugget Ave. and follow the signs.
