Our Association, in cooperation with EMDA, has canceled our 2020 fall conventions. The host hotel has not re-opened on its announced schedule of September 1, and with 60 days remaining before the conventions, we have lost confidence that it will reopen in October.
It was a difficult decision, but we ultimately realized we could not create the networking experience that you expect and deserve.
Because face-to-face time is what matters most to you, we chose to not stage a virtual convention. We will, however, bring members together briefly online.
The Association will host a one-hour digital session that will include a quick business meeting and election of directors, then a 30-minute presentation from political analyst Ray Starling, who is a former Trump White House insider and farmer with a one-of-a-kind perspective on what this election could mean for the industry.
Stay tuned for details on the meeting and presentation.
Your registration for the convention meant so much to us. It was heartening to see the interest in the convention despite these daunting circumstances. The Association will refund your registration by month’s end. If you have questions in the meantime, please get in touch. Call (314) 878-2304.
