Kubota Releases Yearly Earnings Report

For the year ended Dec. 31, consolidated revenue for Kubota Corp. increased by 5.7 percent compared to the previous year.
Domestic revenue increased by 2.4 percent compared to 2017. Strong sales in agricultural-related products and engines lifted the sector’s sales.
Overseas revenue increased by 7.2 percent from the prior year and accounted for 68.8 percent of consolidated revenue.
Operating profit decreased by 5.3 percent from 2017. Profit before income taxes decreased by 7.8 percent.
Income taxes declined, primarily because of the federal tax cut, and profit for the year increased by 4.8 percent.
