Asheboro Kubota, a new dealership in Franklinville, N.C., opened in April. The store carries Kubota, Land Pride, Echo and Stihl products. Owner Joe Milikan hopes to eventually add the option of rental equipment.


Premier Equipment Co., a New Holland dealer in Rocky Mount, N.C., has bought Hines Equipment. The new location opened in May. The dealership has two locations in North Carolina.


PrairieLand Partners has agreed to purchase O’Malley Equipment Company pending Deere approval. When the acquisition is complete, PrairieLand Partners will have 15 locations and be responsible for the Deere market in 48 counties throughout Kansas and Oklahoma. The deal should be final this month.


Ohio Machinery Co. (Ohio Ag Equipment, Northern Ohio Peterbilt and Ohio Cat), recently acquired the property and buildings formerly owned and operated by Magnam Truck and Equipment in Lima, Ohio.

Ohio Ag Equipment, an AGCO and CLAAS dealer, offers machinery, parts and service support. Lima is its sixth location. Ohio Machinery Co. is a Caterpillar, Peterbilt and AGCO dealer with 31 locations in Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana.
