Elizabeth “Libby” Jones, former first lady of this Association, died Wednesday, June 12. She was 92.
Libby was the wife of Clyde Jones for 71 years. Clyde was president of the Association in 1984/1985 and the founder of Mohawk Equipment Company and Belltec Industries. Clyde survives his wife in Belton, Texas.
Libby loved being a homemaker. She was also a member of the Yellowbird Volunteers at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas.
Survivors include son Donald “Donnie” Jones and grandson Alan Jones, both of whom have maintained relationships in the Association.
