Registration desk – The registration desk opens at 7:00 am each day. In addition to picking up name badges, the registration desk is a great spot to meet other attendees, visit staff, and get answers to any questions you may have.
Welcome Reception – The Welcome Reception is from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, and is a great place to meet fellow attendees, catch up on old times and meet new colleagues. There is no formal program for this event, so feel free to stop in as your plans permit. Many guests will still be arriving, therefore travel casual attire is fine.
Wednesday, November 6th
Joint Industry Breakfast and Opening Session – This session is from 8:00 to 9:30 am and is designed to kick off the convention. The special guest speaker will be a representative from the National Corn Growers Association. They will open the convention with an assessment of the state of the industry as it relates to trade, commodities, and policy, and offer well-informed speculation of what’s ahead for agriculture. This is our largest event and fills quickly, plan on arriving early for the best seating.
Spouse/Guest Tour – Guests have the option to sign up for a tour on Wednesday of Forest Park and the Missouri History Museum. See below for more information. (Additional fee)
EMDA’s Partners Party – This event is by invitation only from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.

Wednesday Guest Tour – Forest Park/Missouri History Museum Tour
Registration fee: $75
Start your day with a beautiful driving overview of Forest Park. Your tour guide will highlight the history of “Meet Me in St. Louis” at Forest Park – the site of the 1904 World’s Fair and one of the largest city parks in the United States. Today, Forest Park is home to the world-renowned Saint Louis Zoo, the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Missouri History Museum, the Saint Louis Science Center and the Muny, the largest outdoor theater in the country, among other attractions.
Enjoy a visit to the Missouri History Museum at the Jefferson Memorial. You will be taken on a docent-led tour of the “Pulitzer Prize Photographs”.
Pulitzer Prize Photographs: With the click of a button, photographers record the defining moments of our world and our time. The ugliness of war. The pain of poverty. The ecstasy of victory. The triumph of redemption. This traveling exhibit features the most comprehensive collection of Pulitzer Prize–winning photographs ever assembled. The images represent every Pulitzer Prize photography winner since 1942, when the award was first presented. The awards were named for 19th-century newspaper editor and publisher Joseph Pulitzer, who made a major impact in St. Louis and established the prizes in his will.
You will then head over to Gamlin Whiskey House in the Central West End for lunch.
Thursday Guest Tour – St. Louis Zoo Tour
