Get Involved; Join A Committee!

FEMA offers many opportunities to get involved in the association, including numerous committees. Whatever your interests or knowledge, there is a committee that will benefit from your input.

Find out which committee described below, would best fit your skills.

Convention Committee: This committee formulates themes and chooses speakers for the Fall and Spring Conventions. Because FEMA’s two yearly conventions are the only times many members are able to interact with other members, this committee is vital to the members and the organization.

Dealer Relations: This committee has tackled such issues as dealer exclusivity and warranty reimbursement. These issues are critical to the future success of shortline manufacturers.

Education: Here new videos are selected for FEMA’s Video Library and other educational programs are discussed at the committee meetings.

International Relations: In this global economy, many members are looking for new markets outside North America. The International Relations Committee’s goal is to increase members’ knowledge of overseas markets.

Internet: The purpose of this committee is to review FEMA’s website and all internet activities. The Internet Committee plays a key role in keeping FEMA’s website up-to- date and relevant.

Membership: As the number of shortline manufacturers decreases, FEMA faces many challenges in the years ahead. Retaining current members and introducing potential new members to FEMA is the main focus of this committee.

If you have any questions about any of the committees listed above and would like to volunteer to serve on a committee, please contact Bob Schnell in the FEMA office for more info about the committees or send your request to Bob@FarmEquip.org. We look forward to hearing from you! ❖
