Online Fall Convention Registration Now Open!

Registration is now open for the Fall Convention in Atlanta, Nov. 4-7. If you want to be sure to get in the headquarters Marriott Marquis Hotel, you’ll want to register online immediately at FarmEquip.org/FC. This is particularly true for companies wanting suites as they are limited and are reserved
strictly on a first come, first served basis.

Similar to past conventions, manufacturers, suppliers and marketers must be registered to get a hotel reservation in the headquarters Marriott Marquis. And, different from a growing majority of hotels, rooms that are guaranteed with a credit card, are not charged until actual arrival.

If your firm wants to be included with other manufacturers, you’ll want to be sure and be registered with FEMA. This includes being listed on our website, gaining access to the Fall Convention
E-message system, being able to attend all manufacturer’s sessions, joint meal functions and receptions with FEWA-AIMRA and wearing the FEMA name badge. This name badge, not only gains you entry into exclusive manufacturers sessions, it also gains you complimentary entry into the FEWA-AIMRA Industry Showcase on Thursday morning.

While most specialized manufacturers know the value of the Fall Convention, some newcomers may be unfamiliar with the convention and its purpose. When we say it is the most important and valuable annual gathering of specialized manufacturers, those new to this industry will quickly find out that we aren’t kidding! If you’re looking for distribution in an ever-increasingly difficult market in which to sell your products, this one convention, alone, is worth more than your investment in time and money.

Unlike the view many individuals may take of conventions, this is not the typical fun-and-games meeting. Indeed, it is truly a WORKING
CONVENTION. And, despite the opportunities to meet with distributors and reps countrywide, perhaps the most valuable resource is the opportunity to network with hundreds of fellow manufacturers.

What more can be said about Atlanta, the venue for this year’s convention? Business center of the south, Atlanta is easy to get to from all directions. A hub for 10 major airlines, Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is the world’s busiest. For those who will be entertaining distributors, you’ll find that the city is a veritable trove of dining establishments.

And the Marriott Marquis, Atlanta’s largest hotel and site of FEMA’s 1996 fall meeting, is located in the heart of Peachtree Center. It is well connected, recently revitalized and transformed on nearly every level.

Our speakers this year are second to none. Returning this year is everybody’s favorite economist, Barry Asmus. Continually rated as one of FEMA’s best speakers, Barry puts his outlook on what, during this economic downturn (to say the least), we should expect. And speaking of favorites, CPA Ed McMillan returns after two outstanding Spring Management Clinic appearances to talk to us about: “Is Your Company Ripe for Embezzlement?” And Willie Vogt, editor of Farm Progress, will lead a panel discussion of how to use the web and market directly to farmers and ranchers. Mark Pearson, former Asst. Secretary of Agriculture in Iowa and host of the “Weekly Journal of Rural America,” will also join us and share his humorous outlook on farm markets.

Don’t put off registering for the Atlanta Fall Convention, held concurrently with the FEWA-
AIMRA convention. Register online today!
