Jerry Ganfield To Retire From Gandy Co.

Gandy Company, Owatonna, MN, announces the pending retirement of Jerry Ganfield effective the end of May, 2010. Jerry has been with Gandy since 1976 when the then high school English and Journalism teacher joined Gandy to prepare advertising and sales promotion materials. Currently, Jerry manages and handles all of Gandy’s sales and marketing activities.

Jerry enjoys traveling throughout the U.S. and the world. He has guided tours to
Russia, Ireland, England, Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic plus the U.S. national parks for local travel companies. Jerry has also been very active in the Steele Co (MN) Historical Society, serving as its board president in the past and currently helping plan and build a $3 million history center in Owatonna, MN. Jerry wrote two chapters in the City of Owatonna’s Sesquicentennial commemorative book published in 2004 and coauthored the county history book in 2007.
