Mitas to deliver Mitas Premium tires for CNHI Saskatoon Plant

Mitas Tires North America has signed a long-term agreement with CNH Industrial’s NAFTA group for the delivery of Mitas Premium agricultural tire and GKN wheel assemblies for their new Air Cart models produced at their Saskatoon plant in Canada. Mitas will source, mount and deliver the complete wheel assembly from its plant in Charles City, Iowa. Mitas will deliver tires in six different tread designs and eight dimensions and various wheels and colors to support CNH’s new Air Cart product offering.

“Depending on the current and future market conditions, we are talking about thousands of tires to be delivered to the CNHI plant in Saskatoon,” said Gregory Gilland, OE key accounts director. “We are diversifying our portfolio with CNHI by engaging other platforms outside of motorized vehicles such as tractors or combines where our tires can continue to deliver a major performance difference.”
