ASABE Developed Standard For Ag Equipment Headlamps

The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) has completed a standard that establishes performance and general design requirements and related test procedures for headlamps use on agricultural equipment that may be operated on public roads. This standard is based extensively on the content of SAE International Standard SAE J975, Headlamps for Agricultural Equipment.

The publishing of the new ASABE document, ANSI/ASABE S608, Headlamps for Agricultural Equipment, was made possible with the signing of the 2004 SAE-ASABE Memorandum of Understanding on copyrights, which gave ASABE royalty-free license to publish in whole or part this document.
