Making the Most of the 2026 Marketing & Distribution Convention
This is it! The final Shortliner before we gather in New Orleans for FEMA’s 2026 Marketing & Distribution Convention, October 27–29 at the New Orleans Marriott. With more than 300 people registered, this year’s event is shaping up to be one of the Association’s strongest fall meetings since 2023.
Under the theme “The Future Is in the Room. Will You Be?”, the Convention offers three days of education, networking, and opportunities to explore what’s next for the specialized farm equipment industry. Here are a few tips to help you make the most of your time in New Orleans.
Before You Leave

Review the Program: Take a few minutes to review the Convention schedule and identify the sessions and activities you don’t want to miss. Highlights include the Opening Breakfast Keynote, “The Unstoppable You,” featuring Alex Weber; Ag Autonomy: State of the State, presented by Chris Hunsaker; and the Economic Outlook session with Patrick Luce and Jeremy Bess, exploring economic conditions and trends affecting our industry.
Confirm Your Hotel Reservations: Double-check your hotel reservation and travel arrangements before departure. If you need to make changes to your room reservation after October 15, contact the New Orleans Marriott directly at (504) 581-1000

Download the FEMA App: Visit FarmEquip.org/MobileApp before arriving. You’ll find the Convention schedule and program, attendee information, booth map, and the My Events feature to help organize your schedule. You can also scan the QR code in this issue.
Plan Your Connections: If there are specific members or business partners you want to meet, reach out in advance to arrange a conversation. A little planning can help you make valuable connections and get more out of your time.
Pack Accordingly: Convention attire is business casual. Choose comfortable clothing and shoes for a busy schedule of meetings, educational sessions, and networking activities.
When You Arrive

Pick Up Your Name Badge: Stop by the Convention registration desk in the at the New Orleans Marriott to pick up your name badge and get oriented. Your badge is required for Convention meetings, sessions, and scheduled activities. FEMA staff will be available to answer questions and help you find the information you need.
Make Time for Networking: Some of the most valuable Convention moments happen outside the meeting room. Make time for receptions, informal conversations, and social activities. Whether you’re reconnecting with longtime colleagues or meeting someone new, every conversation is an opportunity to strengthen relationships and discover new possibilities.
