Florida authorities are still looking for a shoplifter who was run over twice by her getaway car, after stealing $1,200 worth of designer handbags from a retail chain, the Associated Press reports.



The store’s security guard told police the woman stuffed six handbags down her pants and walked out of the store. As the guard approached the woman, she ran toward a moving car, tried to get in and failed, and was then run over by the car. The woman got up and jumped onto the hood of the car as it was driving away. The report said the woman fell off and was subsequently run over a second time. One her third attempt, she finally made it inside the car.



Police do have the license plate of the getaway, or in this case the “run over car”, and will likely find the criminal shortly (probably in a hospital).
