Tillage Council Announces Speaker

While there’s a trend toward reduced tillage, solid opportunities remain for manufacturers of tillage equipment to bring new technologies that meet the needs of today’s innovative farmers. Darrell Bruggink, the managing editor and publisher of Lessiter Publications’ Conservation Tillage Product Guide, will share the most recent benchmark study data compiled on conservation tillage at the Tillage Council Meeting during the Spring Clinic, Friday April 3, in Courtroom R. Bruggink will share how strip-till and other conservation-tillage practices are growing to meet both the economic objectives of farmers and today’s societal desires and demands.

Bruggink was raised on a family dairy farm in southeastern Wisconsin. He has more than a decade of experience in agriculture, both as an editor and publisher for Lessiter Publications in Brookfield, WI; and in ag marketing as a public relations team leader at Bader Rutter & Associates while working on the Dow AgroSciences’ business.

We look forward to seeing Spring Clinic attendees at the Tillage Council meeting.
