U.S. Steel Raises Carbon Sheet Prices

U.S. Steel increased, effective June 5, carbon sheet prices, while other steel producers have also upped their prices, Steel Business Briefing reports. ArcelorMittal and Nucor both announced $30 per ton increases, effective in early July.

AK Steel also announced a $20 per ton increase, while Severstal NA said it will raise prices by 6%, bringing its average spot market hot rolled sheet price above $400 per ton.
