Reminder On Trade Assistance

While we have encouraged their use before, we remind FEMA members that if they have been negatively affected by international trade, they might consider contacting the Mid-America Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (TAAC) in Lees Summit, MO. Their phone number is (816) 246-1555 or visit them online at TAACenters.org.

TAAC partners with manufacturers affected by international competition in a 50-50 cost sharing basis designed to improve the cost competitiveness in the international market. If you have been impacted by international competition, contact either the FEMA office for their newest brochure (a very limited number available) or the TAAC offices directly.
