More Endorsements For 25x’25

Governors Ted Strickland of Ohio and Pat Quinn of Illinois have endorsed 25x’25, the movement for a new energy future. They became the 33rd and 34th chief state executives to endorse the goal of American farms, ranches and forestland to meet 25% of our nation’s energy needs with renewable resources by the year 2025.

With the work and encouragement of the Illinois State 25x’25 Alliance, Quinn formally announced his endorsement of 25x’25 at the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, IL. The support of the Ohio State 25x’25 Alliance was critical in gaining Strickland’s endorsement, which was detailed in a letter released by his office to 25x’25 Steering Committee Cochairmen Bill Richards (an Ohio farmer) and J. Read Smith.
