Spring Clinic Speaker Lineup Strengthened By Flinchbaugh

We are pleased to bring Barry Flinchbaugh to our Spring Clinic to talk about Ag & Economic Policy and the Obama Administration. Flinchbaugh will be speaking on Friday, April 9, at 10:45 a.m.

As the Obama administration enters an election year, with one less vote in the Senate, what is in store for the ag economy? Will they attempt to open the farm bill and change commodity program payments? Hot topics include: Payment limitations, farm program eligibility, targeting price or revenue, renewable energy, climate change, trade, and the topic of the day. Flinchbaugh, a long-time advisor on ag policy to politicians of both parties and a prominent professor of Agricultural Economics at Kansas State University, will cover these topics in his usual tell it like it is approach with a sprinkling of humor.

Flinchbaugh holds a BS degree in Animal Science and a MS in Agricultural Economics from Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. in Agricultural economics from Purdue University.
