Buhler Begins Production of Farm King, Feterl Auger Lines

USAgNet, Buhler Industries Inc. recently unveiled the new line of Farm King augers built at the manufacturing facility in Salem, SD. The company acquired the assets of Feterl Manufacturing Corp. in early 2010, supported by a low-interest loan provided by the South Dakota Economic Development Corporation.

The company announced that the augers built in Salem will be available in two color schemes: Farm King red and the well-known Feterl white. In addition to the Farm King logo, all Salem-built augers will carry a ‘Feterl Original’ brand.

More than 20 jobs have been created at the Salem facility since the acquisition by Buhler Industries, and year-round auger production and research and development is expected to demand further staff additions in the coming months.
