Help Wanted: Sprayer Engineer

A member is currently accepting applications for a Sprayer Engineer based out of Willmar, MN.

As a Sprayer Engineer, this person will create new and modified designs to facilitate the manufacturing of spraying equipment. Responsibilities include creating and updating new and existing parts/assembly drawings, creating and updating BOM’s and liaising with the Sales, Production, Quality, Purchasing and Service Departments to assist with troubleshooting, tooling and fixture development, technical support, tolerance maintenance, product quality, and product documentation.

The successful candidate will have design experience and a thorough understanding of sheet metal, welding, assembly, plastic components, castings, engine installations, sprayer booms, chemical liquid pump systems and sprayer plumbing.

Working knowledge of AS400, Microsoft Office, AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD is also required. The candidate must be an energetic problem solver with exceptional attention to detail, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to multi-task and prioritize in combination with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment while meeting time lines is essential to this position. A background in agricultural equipment is strongly preferred.
