ASABE Revises Agriculture Ventilation Fan Efficiency Standard

The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) has revised its standard for selecting energy efficient agricultural ventilation fans.

The revised standard, ASAE EP566.2 JUN2012, Guidelines for Selection of Energy Efficient Agricultural Ventilation Fans, was updated to reflect recent research and continued experience with such fans. Additional wording clarifications and format changes were also included in the revision.

ASABE members with standards access and those with site-license privileges can access the full-text via electronic download on the ASABE online Technical Library at elibrary.asabe.org/.
