Risk Management Session

One of the topics we will be address during our Spring Conference in San Antonio will be managing some of the risks that can have a major effect on your company’s bottom line.

Tom Franzen, our Risk Management Consultant will be leading a panel dealing with the wide variety of issues which surround Worker Compensation Insurance. Experts from Sentry Insurance will be on hand to explain some of the critical issues facing the industry and what’s being done within the industry and what employers can do to improve their own numbers.

This session will deal with wide range of subjects including pre-employment physicals, the importance of job descriptions, determining maximum medical improvement, narcotic pain medication abuse, cost of rehab, and the benefit of return to work programs.

Our panel will also include an expert on electronic surveillance to explain what technologies are available for the workplace, from self installed systems available at Costco and Sam’s Club to professionally installed custom system.

Lest we get off track, one of our HR attorneys, David James, will be on the panel to provide legal insight and to address any questions.
