The Mills Companies announced it has acquired EIP Manufacturing, LLC, in Earlville, IA.

EIP has a nearly-40-year history of manufacturing custom product applications for livestock markets, as well as product lines including solar panel mounts, wind energy towers and structural steel fabrications.

The Mills Companies produces metal fabrication products for agricultural applications through Iowa-based companies EIP Manufacturing, LLC; Mills Manufacturing, Inc.; Franklin Manufacturing, Inc. and Stronghold Manufacturing, Inc.

Vermeer Corporation was recognized for the second time as an outstanding agricultural equipment dealer.

The North American Equipment Dealers Association (NAEDA) recently released its annual Dealer-Manufacturer Relations Survey and Dealer’s Choice Awards. For the second consecutive year, Vermeer Corporation was awarded “Dealer’s Choice” in the Ag/Shortline Manufacturer category.

The survey, conducted in January, asked dealers to rate up to five manufacturer lines that they carry in 12 key categories, including Overall Satisfaction, Product Quality, Product Availability and Product Technical Support. Dealers gave Vermeer high ratings among these categories.
