Jim Pattison Group Acquires JayDee AgTech
JayDee AgTech now operates under the Jim Pattison Group umbrella after being acquired by the Vancouver-based private company that also owns Maple Farm Equipment, reported The Southwest Booster.
An acquisition statement on jdat.ca notes that the former JayDee Equipment became JayDee AgTech effective May 1, but there will be no change in management. The current partnership team, along with senior management teams and department managers, will continue to operate the company, make operational decisions locally, and retain all staff.
Maple Farm Equipment, one of the largest John Deere dealers in Western Canada, has headquarters in Yorkton, six dealerships in Saskatchewan, one in Manitoba. With the acquisition, it adds nine more locations.
The Jim Pattison Group is Canada’s second-largest private company, boasting over 505 locations in a wide range of businesses, with annual sales of over $8.1 billion and more than 36,000 employees.
