Winona Powder Coating Secures Certificate

Winona Powder Coating, a high-volume powder coater based in Etna Green, IN, was awarded the JDM F17 certification from John Deere. This paint process qualification enables the company to expand its color coatings offerings to a wider base of agricultural parts suppliers.

In addition to the newly acquired certification, the company has added an abrasive blasting and laser scale removal to satisfy customer demand. These additional equipment capabilities are the latest value-add to the 167,000-sq.-ft. facility. The plant also houses a powder coating line with a five-stage washer, automatic and manual coating booths, and digitally controlled ovens.
