Sentry Offers Safety Management Practices Seminar
Sentry Insurance will sponsor an advanced three-day seminar with breakout sessions to help you plan, implement and manage your company’s safety program and improve your safety culture.
Whether your employees operate forklifts or punch presses or drive motor vehicles, it is imperative that they avoid the risk of personal injury. Learn how you can help improve safety, efficiency and productivity in your operations by training your workforce to decrease risk, and provide your management team with tools to manage with safety in mind.
The seminar will expand your understanding of the safety process and help you to:
• Identify the root cause of accidents
• Help workers adopt safe practices
• Comply with OSHA standards
• Provide tools for developing a safety culture
• Identify, isolate and fill gaps in your program
• Achieve employee involvement
• Improve Workers Compensation claims results
• Plan for workplace violence and active shooter scenarios
• Learn how to audit your safety system
The seminar will be held Oct. 21-23 at Sentry’s home offices in Stevens Point, WI. To view the agenda online, visit FarmEquip.org/Seminar14.
The cost is $400 for Sentry customers, including Association members. To register, call Dan Hoover at 715-346-7730 or email him at dan.hoover@sentry.com. S
