Wanted: Technical Sales Rep
A manufacturer of agricultural pumps and equipment seeks a Technical Sales Representative to join its sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with current and new customers by providing unparalleled customer service and product knowledge;
- Provide technical sales support for all products;
- Visit current and potential customers within an assigned region;
- Attend trade shows and other marketing events;
- Provide onsite or online technical training on products;
- Input customer orders and analyze product sales trends by customer;
- Prepare and submit call reports for all customer visits;
- Alert manufacturing of changes in customer forecasts and delivery schedules;
- Process return authorizations and product warranties as needed.
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Agronomy, Agribusiness, Engineering or related field of study;
- Good basic knowledge of ag equipment and experience with agriculture;
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
Compensation includes sase salary, commission, health/dental insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401k with company match, and life insurance.
