AgJunction, Novariant Merger Complete
AgJunction Inc. announced last week it has completed a merger with Novariant, Inc., which had been announced in March.
In news about the completed merger, AgJunction said the deal positions the combined company as a distinguished leader in the steering and machine control technologies because of its broad intellectual property portfolio and ability to deliver application-specific solutions to precision agriculture customers.
“As global machine manufacturers increasingly target the integration of autosteer technologies at the factory level,” the announcement said, “the merged entity can provide increased support and a wider offering of advanced machine automation to current and future OEM and VAR customers.”
The combined company has 182 employees worldwide (AgJunction 130, Novariant 52) with executive offices in Fremont, Calif. Headquarters and corporate offices remain in Hiawatha, Kan., with research and development facilities in Scottsdale, Ariz., Brisbane, Australia, Fremont, and Hiawatha.
