Deere Partners With Data Firm
Deere & Company has formed a partnership with the Colorado-based DN2K, which stands for Data Into Knowledge. The companies have together formed SageInsights, with Deere owning a majority stake, aiming to optimize use of the data farmers gather through their equipment.
DN2K brings an existing cloud software platform known as MyAgCentral, which, according to a news release from Deere, “helps agriculture advisors collect, organize, and analyze machine-to-machine information and use it along with insights from other resources to help improve decision-making.”
SageInSights will integrate MyAgCentral with the Deere Operations Center, making the data management tools of both platforms available to producers and their advisors.
Susan Lambert, President and CEO of DN2K, said the partnership allows the company to reach more farmers.
“The agriculture industry has significant opportunities to increase productivity by understanding and leveraging the operational intelligence that is already available,” she said.
The new company will be based in Denver. S
