Deere-Monosem Deal Done

Deere has completed its acquisition of Monosem, which designs and manufactures precision planters. The purchase includes the company’s four facilities in France and two in the U.S.

Deere says the deal accelerates its market reach in precision planting equipment and adds engineering expertise to further develop planting technology.

Deere does not plan to change the independent nature of Monosem, which has been known for innovation. The business will retain its own brand and trademark.
