Kubota Numbers Move in Encouraging Direction

For the nine months ended December 31, 2015, revenues of Kubota Corporation and its subsidiaries increased by 9.2% from the same period in the prior year.

Revenues in its Farm & Industrial Machinery segment increased by 10.6% from the same period in the prior year, and accounted for 82% of consolidated revenues.

In North America, revenues increased because of higher sales of compact tractors for home owners. The strong housing market also contributed to the numbers.

Sales of midscale tractors for farming decreased due to the negative impact of declines in agricultural prices.
