Krone Announces Move to Indiana

Krone North America is relocating.  The manufacturer of hay and forage equipment announced it will move its corporate headquarters from Memphis, Tenn., to Shelbyville, Ind.

The family-owned, 110-year-old business planned the move as part of a strategic plan to grow its North American business.

The company will invest $12.5 million to build a 200,000-square-foot facility on 40 acres. The new space will include corporate offices, distribution center, showroom, and training facility.

The transition will take place over the next three years.

An announcement from Krone said the move improves accessibility between the company and its most concentrated base of customers.

Krone has a network of 400 dealers across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. S
