The Western Equipment Dealers Association (WEDA) announced that Larry Hertz has joined the organization as regional vice president for Canada. WEDA says Hertz will play a major role in expanding and enhancing its Canadian government affairs and manufacturer relations advocacy.
Hertz served as vice president of media for IRON Solutions and as a territory business manager for New Holland North America.
The Far West Equipment Dealers Association—FWEDA—recently decided against merging with the Western Equipment Dealers Association.
Sixty-seven members, or 72 percent of voters, opposed the merger. Twenty-six members voted in favor of the merger.
About 70 percent of members cast their vote on the issue.
