Dealer News: Merger in Northeast
Western New York’s two Deere dealers—Lakeland Equipment and Z&M Ag and Turf—recently announced a partnership with Argonne Capital Group, creating the largest Deere dealership in the Northeast.
The two dealer groups merged their assets into a new company called LandPro Equipment that is backed by Argonne and existing shareholders of Lakeland and Z&M. The new company has 12 dealership locations and over 300 employees.
LandPro Equipment said it expects the merger to lead to greater buying power with Deere and its vendors.
