Baker Wins Award, Earns Certification

Baker Industries, previously known as Baker 3D Solutions, recently received the 2017 Diversification Leader Award in an event hosted by the economic development organization of Macomb County, Michigan.

The award celebrates a company that generates new business by expanding products and services or tapping into new markets.

Baker has expanded into markets such as medical technology, appliance, energy, and agriculture, an announcement from the company said.

Baker Industries also announced it achieved accreditation in measurement and inspection from the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program.

The accreditation assures customers they are buying materials produced and tested to the highest industry standards, the announcement said. The accreditation allows Baker to provide further support to the aerospace and defense industries.
