Suppliers Make it Possible
It took a few days, but we’ve recovered from the Supply Summit in Little Rock. (See the fun we had in the spring issue of Ag Innovator. Go to FarmEquip.org/AGI.)
It was an exhausting and rewarding few days that offered time for manufacturers to meet suppliers and consider new business partnerships.
Because the Summit is an opportunity for suppliers to meet manufacturers, they partner with the Association to host the spring meeting.
Their contributions were abundant, including leading the golf outing and sponsoring holes, serving as host for the trap shoot, planning and hosting the welcome reception, coordinating a walk/run, leading us on an exploration of Little Rock night life, and sponsoring coffee breaks and educational sessions throughout the meeting.
“Our supplier members took ownership of this meeting when the planning began many months ago, and they stayed on top of it until the final moments,” said Meeting Director Andrea Schnelten. “It would not have been the success that it was without them.”
Schnelten encourages members who did not attend the Supply Summit to make the most of their membership and join the Association for the 2018 Summit, which is April 18 to 20 in Omaha, Neb.
“We hear repeatedly from suppliers that good things come from getting involved,” she said. “This is a welcoming and open group. No one stays a stranger for long.”
