AGCO, Precision Planting Close Deal

AGCO announced Tuesday it finalized its purchase of Precision Planting from the Climate Corporation.

A letter from a senior vice president at AGCO to employees, dealers, and the ag community said that the company intends to expand Precision Planting’s products to more global markets and strengthen OEM relationships.

“Our commitment to our customers that they should be in full control of their data is not changing,” the executive wrote.
