MarketPlace vs. Contact Session: Defining the Difference

The Marketing & Distribution Convention creates opportunities for manufacturers and distributors to connect and develop strategies for getting product lines into the marketplace. While every stroll through the hallway presents such an opportunity, events on Tuesday afternoon are designed specifically for this purpose.

The MarketPlace and Contact Session happen at the same time—next to one another. This Association hosts the MarketPlace, which features our marketing associate members in exhibit space, fielding questions from manufacturers about distribution opportunities.

The Equipment Marketing & Distribution Association hosts the Contact Session, where wholesalers and independent reps are available for quick conversations with manufacturers. The goal in each case is to identify opportunities to pursue during conversations later in the week.
