AgJunction Appoints SVP, Global Product Development

AgJunction Inc., which provides automated steering and machine control technology for precision agriculture, has appointed M. Brett McMickell, Ph.D, as senior vice president of global product development. He leads all engineering and product development, as well as drives the technology road map for AgJunction.

For the past 12 years, McMickell held various leadership positions, including senior director of program management at Honeywell Aerospace. He was most recently responsible for a team of 180 engineers focused on new product development for aircraft and space actuation systems. Prior to this, McMickell led the development of strategy and operations for Honeywell’s Orion Space Programs.

“Brett brings to AgJunction a wealth of technical expertise in both control systems and autonomous platforms,” said CEO and Presidet Dave Vaughn. “His experience driving major software and hardware development programs not only required interaction with multiple major corporations, but also the coordination and cooperation of engineering teams around the world. We believe this will add tremendous value to our engineering team as we move closer to the agriculture machine manufacturers.”
