EDA Names Director of Government Relations

The Equipment Dealers Association (EDA) has announced that Alexis Strieker has joined the Association’s government relations team.

Strieker has worked for representatives in both the Illinois and Missouri legislatures. In addition, she worked on the campaign for Senator Roy Blunt and served as Congressional Fellow in Washington, D.C. for Congressman Raul Labrador of Idaho.

She will focus on representing dealers in Washington, D.C., and Ottawa, as well as on state issues such as Right to Repair.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Alexis to the EDA team. In 2018, our goal is to continue to enhance our representation of dealer interests, and Alexis’s experience and connections will do just that,” said EDA President and CEO Kim Rominger.

Strieker is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, where she earned her a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications in three years.

EDA’s Natalie Higgins will continue to work to advance the interests of equipment dealers in government relations and manufacturer relations as the association’s general counsel.
