Steel Roundtable Stands Alone on Schedule
Interest in steel tariffs is high among Association members, and we expect standout participation in our roundtable conversation on the subject during our final day of the Summit.
In response, the Tillage Council will no longer host its meeting, which was scheduled at the same time as the roundtable. Instead, speaker Rye DeGarmo, vice president of engineering at Great Plains, will join the Association at the Marketing & Distribution Convention in Minneapolis in October.
Terry Flanary from National Tube Supply will facilitate the conversation on steel tariffs. He will be joined by Steve Ford from Latham-Hickey Steel, Joe Brunner from KCoe Isom, and tentatively a fourth panelist from a domestic steel producer.
Participants will discuss exemptions, share insights on how the tariffs will affect the industry, and respond to questions. The 60-minute session begins at 8:45 a.m. Friday.
