Tractor/Combine Sales Contribute to Strong Q2 for CNH
Net sales of agricultural equipment at CNH increased by 20 percent for the second quarter of this year, or by 18 percent on a constant currency basis.
A report from the company cited a favorable end-user demand environment, with demand in North America up 9 percent in high-horsepower tractors and 26 percent in combines.
The company also reported that its anticipated increase in raw material costs was offset by manufacturing efficiencies.
