Be in the Room for Our All-Star Dealer Panel

Would you like to know the process dealers use to decide what shortline brands find space on their lots? Do you want to hear what dealers expect the distribution landscape to look like in 10 years?

Find the answers at the 2018 Marketing & Distribution Convention in Minneapolis, where the dealer panel will include executives from Titan Machinery, Rocky Mountain Equipment, RDO Equipment Co., Grinnell Implement and Del-Clay Farm Equipment.

Mike Wiles, also known as “Tractor Mike,” will moderate the panel. Wiles teaches agricultural sales at Missouri State University. He is the creator of “Ask Tractor Mike,” a YouTube channel offering hobby farmers instruction on proper use of equipment. Wiles grew up on a farm and has worked for more than two decades in the farm equipment industry.

Wiles will make appearances throughout the convention, including a session in which he offers attendees’ feedback on their companies’ YouTube marketing.

Keith Kreps is executive vice president at RDO Equipment Co., based in North Dakota. The Deere dealership has more than 75 stores in nine states and partnerships worldwide. RDO was founded in 1968; Kreps has been with the company since 1998.

Jay Funke is president of
Del-Clay Farm Equipment in Edgewood, Iowa.

The dealership, which was founded in 1947, has been operated by the Funke family since 1992.

Jim Wood is chief sales and operations officer at Rocky Mountain Equipment, which focuses on CNH brands. It operates 37 dealerships across three Canadian provinces.

Rocky Mountain launched in 2012 to consolidate a number of brands. Wood has been in farm equipment sales for three decades.

BJ Knutson is chief operating officer at Titan Machinery, which owns and operates a network of full-service agriculture and construction equipment dealerships in the U.S.
and Europe. Its primary equipment manufacturer partner is the CNH family of brands. He began at Titan in 2002.
