What To Do in Minneapolis: Close-to-Hotel Highlights

The primary purpose of the Marketing & Distribution Convention is to bring together manufacturers and distributors of farm equipment.

When that’s done, much of the rest is up to you. You schedule meetings and create opportunities to form partnerships. We know a little social time can help, so here are highlights of a few things to do near the Hilton Minneapolis.

Dakota Jazz Club & Restaurant. This is an easy walk from the hotel and offers a full menu and live music seven nights a week. Learn more at dakotacooks.com. Some events are ticketed, see club calendar for details.

Fun for Sports Fans. The Minnesota Timberwolves play at the nearby Target Center –
Los Angeles Lakers on Monday – Oct 29 and the Utah JAZZ on Wednesday Oct 31.

The Minnesota Vikings play at U.S. Bank Stadium just outside of our convention dates:
New Orleans Saints on Oct. 28 and Detroit Lions Nov. 4. Stadium tours are offered Monday through Saturday. Tours depart every hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Dining. The list of options within walking distance is long. See suggestions at Meeting.FarmEquip.org.
