Classified Ad: Member Company Seeks Buyer

Swihart Sales Company is looking for an entrepreneurial individual or company to buy its Spray Innovations business in Quinter, Kan.

Owners Roger and Mary Jane Swihart say it is time to slow down, so they are seeking a buyer and asking $250,000 plus the cost of inventory, which runs between $50,000 and $100,000.

Roger Swihart has been selling mist sprayers for more than 30 years. The couple characterize the operation as a “solid, established business with hundreds of happy customers” and say they see “unlimited” opportunities for sales. Customer groups today include operators of vineyards, Christmas tree and pecan tree farms, dairies, orchards, nurseries, feedlots, vegetable and hops growers, and more.

The Swiharts tell potential buyers that they will “give you advice or stay out of your way. The choice is yours.”

 The year-round operation is moving into its slow season, which the couple said makes this the “ideal time to make a move.”
