AGCO Appoints COO

AGCO Corp. has appointed Eric Hansotia as chief operating officer, a new position within AGCO. Hansotia has been the company’s senior vice president for Global Crop Cycle and Fuse Connected Services. He joined the company in 2013.

In his new role, which begins Jan. 1, he will oversee all of AGCO’s regional commercial operations as well as its global product management, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain functions.

He will continue to report to Martin Richenhagen, chairman, president and CEO of AGCO. Richenhagen noted Hansotia’s contributions to AGCO specific to precision agriculture and harvesting products.
