AMC Names Executive Director

The Agricultural Manufacturers of Canada (AMC) Board of Directors has selected a new executive director. Steve McCabe of Kenilworth, Ontario, began Tuesday.

“Our new executive director brings a unique perspective to this pivotal role,” said AMC Board Chair Richelle Andreas. “Steve’s experience in a variety of positions across agricultural businesses and sectors will serve AMC well.”

McCabe worked in a member relations role for a grower organization during tough times, the announcement about his appointment said.

“Like this Association, AMC serves as an advocate and voice for companies in the vital farm equipment industry,” said Vernon Schmidt, executive vice president of Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association. “I look forward to working with Steve and getting things done for the industry.”

McCabe succeeds Leah Olson, who became CEO at SeedMaster.
