Montag Wins Water Quality Award

The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship last week recognized Montag Manufacturing with a Water Quality Initiative award.

The award represents standout work in advancing practices and technologies that support the Iowa Nutrient Strategy (NRS), develop and promote products or programs in support of the NRS, and lead efforts in environmental stewardship.

Mike Naig, Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, who presented the award, commended Montag’s latest fertilizer delivery system.

“We are thrilled to be able to recognize Montag for the wonderful work that they are doing with innovative approaches to covering more acres and accelerating our adoption of practices.”

CEO Anthony Montag said the company is proud to be building a strong future for agriculture.
