Davies Retires from Alamo

Geoffrey Davies, OBE, Ph.D., executive vice president and managing director of Alamo Group’s European Division, will retire at the end of June.

Davies has been with Alamo Group and its predecessor companies for 34 years. Davies has been a recognized industry leader in the United Kingdom among farm equipment manufacturers. The “OBE” behind his name represents his membership in the Order of the British Empire, a distinction awarded him by the Queen in 2004 for his service to industry.

Davies will transition to an interim consultant role after his retirement. His replacement has not been named.
