BlackBerry Usage Policies

A recent article in the “National Law Journal” indicates that companies could be facing a new set of suits concerning Blackberry overtime pay. 

CBS News also reported that attorneys are beginning to tell their clients to create explicit BlackBerry overtime policies to address potential complaints about their use after regular business hours.  There’s a potential danger that companies could get sued, not only for overtime but for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, “Blackberry thumb” or related problems.  

Employees at ABC-TV have said enough is enough and are asking to be compensated for checking their ‘berries after hours.
